Leadership Programme for PINTAR School Leaders (LPPSL) Phase 1 Cohort 6 & 7

Ninety-one school leaders – comprising headmasters, principals and head of subjects (ketua panitia) – from 48 PINTAR schools attended the Phase 1/Cohort 6 session, from April 26-29, while another 90 school leaders from 50 PINTAR schools attended the Phase 1/Cohort 7 session from 3-5 May in Kuala Lumpur.

School leaders were trained based on the LOREC model which ensures school leadership teams understand their roles as leaders of learning in communicating and implementing a shared vision for 21st century learning through a holistic approach that involves all stakeholders, giving them ownership of the change and at the same time, keeping them accountable for achievement of agreed targets.

The highlight of the programme was when participants were taken on a study tour to three international schools in the Klang Valley – Asia Pacific International School in Subang, R.E.A.L International School and Dwi Emas International School – where they learned how the schools implemented 21st century learning and engaged with their students.
