PINTAR - HELP Teacher's Training for Inclusive Education Programme (PHP)

A total of 114 primary school teachers from 30 selected PINTAR schools based in Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang and Selangor, attended a series of training sessions under the PINTAR-HELP Teachers’ Training for Inclusive Education Programme (PHP).

The first batch of 57 teachers attended two sessions held on 20-21 and 26-27 October at Merrida Hotel in Selangor, while the second batch attended the sessions on 3-4 and 10-11 November at the same venue.

The purpose of the training sessions was to equip teachers, namely inclusive education teachers, to implement the individual education plan (IEP) at their respective schools.

The one-year programme is in collaboration with HELP University and funded by Yayasan Hasanah.

PINTAR hoped that the PHP will be successfully implemented in the 30 PINTAR schools so as to better support efforts by the Ministry of Education in increasing the student enrollment rate to 30% for Inclusive Education Programme (PPI) by end of 2017.
