About Us

PINTAR Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation, bringing quality education programmes to disadvantaged students in rural and urban poor schools across Malaysia

PINTAR Foundation was established in 2008 to spearhead the PINTAR School Adoption Programme. We function with the mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Malaysian students from marginalised communities. We strive to complement existing ongoing efforts by the Government to provide equitable access to quality education for all and ensure schools and students receive adequate aid to attain the highest standards of education.

This winning formula is coupled with the current active members’ commitment to run customised programmes at adopted schools and to offer direct cash or resource contributions towards the running of these programmes. The Government supported this initiative back in 2009 and provided a seed fund of RM20 million for PINTAR Foundation to achieve its vision and mission.
