PINTAR School Adoption Programme
The Foundation ensures adoption of most-in-need schools via its established school selection criteria as below:
- Primary Schools: Average school’s academic achievement – a minimum of 65% students rated TP4 and below (based on Pentaksiran Bilik Darjah (PBD))
- Secondary Schools: Average school’s academic passing rate for national exam is less than 80%
- Priority to rural and urban poor schools
- Average family income of RM3,000 for rural schools and RM4,000 for urban schools
- Recommendations from state education departments (JPN/PPD/Ministry of Education (MOE))
